At The Rooted Schoolhouse, we are passionate about cultivating a learning environment that nurtures the mind, spirit, and heart of every child. Founded by Melinda and Monique, our journey into education was inspired by a shared vision to create a place where children could flourish academically, emotionally, and spiritually—rooted in love, faith, and community.

Our story began in 2020, right from our homes in the Miami Springs area. With a combined experience of over 40 years in public, private, and charter schools, we have seen firsthand the importance of individualized attention and a learning experience that caters to each child. Our years of working in various educational settings inspired us to dream bigger—dreams that would one day turn into The Rooted Schoolhouse.

At The Rooted Schoolhouse, we embrace the concept of a micro-school, which combines the best elements of homeschooling and private education to provide a rich, personalized learning experience.
